How to Use

Barrier NPR+ is an ultra-nourishing, concentrated balm - just a little goes a long way.

 Warm a small amount between hands until it melts, then apply as needed.

For optimal skin barrier support, apply a thin layer as often as needed.

Barrier NPR+ is water-free, so it won’t directly hydrate the skin. If you’re caring for eczema-prone skin, we recommend pairing Barrier NPR+ with Bodyguard for both barrier support and hydration.

Barrier NPR+ helps calm red, itchy and irritated-feeling skin, giving flare-prone areas a more settled, comfortable feel.

Once the skin has settled, Bodyguard is essential for hydrating skin that may look dry, dehydrated or flaky, as well as providing ongoing moisture to help keep the barrier feeling healthy and supported.

Both products are available in the Rebuild Your Barrier Bundle.

Note: Barrier NPR+ is 100% water free. Small waxy beads or slight oil separation may appear - this is completely normal and won’t affect the product's efficacy.

Storage Instructions
Please store Barrier NPR+ and Bodyguard between 15°C and 25°C. Because our formulations are predominantly oil-based, exposure to cold temperatures or sudden temperature changes may cause the natural oils to crystallise, resulting in a grainy texture. This does not affect the quality or performance of the product, but it may alter its appearance and feel. For best results, store in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.

Jacqui here. I'm so sorry to hear that Barrier NPR+ didn't agree with your skin. As much as I'd love our formulations to work for everyone, I know that's a little naïve as everyone has their own unique allergies and sensitivities to particular ingredients.

I recommend keeping the product carton on hand so you have a record of the full ingredient list. If you react to other products in the future, you can compare the ingredients and try to identify any common triggers. It can be a lengthy process, but sometimes patterns emerge surprisingly quickly.

After my first few weeks, I can confidently say the Barrier NPR+ cream is very helpful. My skin is post TSW so it can be very complicated. During my latest summer flare I used this product to manage symptoms so I could continue with my day to day.

The best treatment for my daughter’s eczema, and irritated skin in our house! After trying many other products claiming to be the solution for eczema - this cream finally delivered for us and now we use the body wash and bodyguard. Could not recommend more highly.

Can I use Barrier NPR+ on my infant / baby?

To make claims that a product is safe for babies, it must undergo in vivo testing under paediatric controls - a process that’s both rigorous and costly. We haven’t yet begun these tests.

That said, our ultra-gentle formulas and extensive independent clinical studies on sensitive skin (plus plenty of use on our own “guinea-kids”) give us confidence that little ones love our products.

Things to keep in mind:
If a skincare formula contains food ingredients, it’s best to wait until your child has been introduced to those foods during weaning before using it topically. Some research suggests early skin exposure may be linked to developing food sensitivities.

This is why we often suggest Bodyguard over Barrier NPR+ when parents are concerned about their baby's skin barrier.

And remember to always patch test first.

Is Barrier NPR+ suitable for Topical Steroid Withdrawal Syndrome (TSWS)?
